Your health & nutrition questions
Q - Where can I find the nutrition information?
Just have a read of the label on the pack. It?s all there.
Our labels include information on energy in kilojoules (kJ) or kilocalories (kcal) or calories for short. They also include information on protein, carbohydrate, sugars, fat, saturated fat, salt and calcium where the amount is significant. All nutritional information is provided per 100 grams which allows you to compare between different products. The per portion information is given on our children?s ranges too.
Q - How do I know if the product is high in fat, saturated fat or sugar?
There are guidelines to tell you if a food is high in fat, saturated fat, salt or sugar, or not. These are:
High: more than 17.5g of fat per 100g
Low: 3g of fat or less per 100g
High: more than 5g of saturated fat per 100g
Low: 1.5g of saturated fat or less per 100g

Q - Where can I find the ingredients information?
You?ll find a list of ingredients on the label. These are listed in order of weight, so the main ingredients in the product always come first (usually yogurt or milk). Some ingredients will be highlighted in bold text and these are the ingredients which are allergens.

Q - Which Müller products are suitable for people with diabetes?
Diabetes UK doesn?t recommend a special diet for people with diabetes. They say ?while the emphasis for people with diabetes used to be on severely restricting sugar, it is now recognised that the exclusion of sugar from the diet is both unnecessary and impracticable?. ?The diet for people with diabetes is a balanced healthy diet, the same kind that is recommended for the rest of the population ? low in fat, sugar and salt with plenty of fruits and vegetables and meals including some starchy foods.? In terms of the total sugar and fat content of our product ranges, the Müllerlight range is fat free and contains either no or relatively small amounts of added sugar, making it a healthier option for all. For full nutritional information on all Müller products please see the product section.
Q - What do you mean when you say 'contains a source of Phenylalanine'?
Phenylalanine is an amino acid found naturally within protein rich foods such as meat, cheese and milk and is one of the main building blocks of all proteins. Where aspartame (a sweetener) is used as an ingredient it will contain Phenylalanine. Whilst this ingredient presents no issues for the majority of our customers, sufferers of Phenylketonuria (PKU) (around 0.01% of the population) need this information.
Q - Where can I find the nutritional information for your product ranges?

Sugar: Did you know?
Our aim is to create fantastic, quality products that create everyday moments of pleasure for our consumers.
To that end we produce a range of Müllerlicious products, from fresh milk to flavoured milk drinks, milkshakes and thick and creamy, indulgent yogurt and desserts to healthier fat free, lower-calorie or reduced sugar options.
Natural Sugar vs Added Sugar
All our scrumptious Müller dairy products contain milk and are perfect to enjoy as part of a varied and balanced diet. Milk contains a naturally occurring sugar called lactose, which contributes to the total sugar content you see on the nutritional labelling on pack.
Milk is also a natural and nutrient-rich product, containing essential minerals such as calcium and vitamins (especially B vitamins) which are a vital part of a healthy and nutritious diet.
Our consumers love our Müllerlicious dairy products and the nutritional benefits which come with consuming a product made with milk. We provide a whole range of products so consumers can choose for themselves based on health requirements. For example, our Müllerlight range is fat free and contains either no or relatively small amounts of added sugar, making it a healthier option for all. Our delicious FRijj milkshakes also come in reduced sugar varieties.
How can I check the sugar content?
The total sugar content which you see on the nutritional panel is made up of natural milk sugar (lactose), natural fruit sugar where fruit is added, and any sugar which may be added for taste.
