This promotion is only open to residents of the United Kingdom (excluding the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man) aged 18 years or over. Proof of age and residence may be required.
- Promoter & Data Controller
The Promoter and Data Controller is Muller UK & Ireland Group LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in England with partnership number OC384928 whose registered office is at Shrewsbury Road, Market Drayton, Shropshire TF9 3SQ, United Kingdom. Entries to this address will NOT be accepted.
Promotion excludes employees and their immediate families of: the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies; any agencies or suppliers involved with the promotion or its administration; and anyone else professionally connected with the promotion or its administration.
- Final Decision
The Promoter’s decision is final on all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Promotional Bottle
A “Promotional Bottle” is a single:
- 400ml bottle of FRijj milkshake: strawberry; banana; chocolate; and fudge brownie variants; and
- 400ml bottle of UHT FRijj milkshake: strawberry; chocolate; and fudge brownie variants,
each flashed with “Win £1,000 – Hear a Moo to Win”.
- Promotion Dates
The “Promotional Period” opens on 6 May 2019 and closes on 15 November 2019. Promotional Bottles are anticipated to be available in participating stores from 6 May 2019, subject to availability.
- Unique Reference Number
A Unique Reference Number (“URN”) is an 8 digit alphanumeric code, example: L23R5WZ9. A URN is printed on the inside of a winning Promotional Bottle. If there is no URN or it is not legible on a winning Promotional Bottle, or the winning Promotional Bottle does not make a sound, then entrants should contact firstname.lastname@example.org or the Promoter’s marketing agency by calling the Freephone number shown on the leaflet enclosed in the winning Promotional Bottle.
- How to enter – residents in the UK:
Before the end of the Promotional Period, entrants must buy a Promotional Bottle and remove the cap. Winning Promotional Bottles are: (a) fitted with a special function which emits a ‘mooing’ sound when opened; (b) contain an information leaflet and voucher inside to the value of 1 x single 400ml FRijj bottle; and (c) have a URN printed on the inside of a winning Promotional Bottle. Subject to the successful completion of the prize claim and verification process described in paragraph 10 below, the entrant will win a prize. Entrants must retain their original winning Promotional bottle and cap for verification purposes, or this will invalidate their prize win.
- How to alternatively enter – residents in Northern Ireland:
Northern Ireland residents can alternatively enter without purchase by sending their full name, address (including postcode) and telephone number (where you can be contacted in case of being selected as a winner) on a piece of paper to: FRijj Mooing Bottle Promotion, c/o ATOM Marketing Communications, 3 Thorp House, Thorp Street, Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK10 1LJ, UK. Only one entry permitted per stamped envelope. Postal entries must be received by 15 November 2019. Within 5 working days of receipt, or less where the closing date is imminent, the Promoter’s marketing agency will, subject to availability, buy a random Promotional Bottle and open it to see if it is a winning Promotional Bottle. Entrants will only be contacted if they are a winner.
- Prize Claim and Verification Process:
Winning Promotional Bottles will contain an information leaflet and voucher inside the bottle to the value of 1 x FRijj bottle (400ml). Entrants must call 0800 012 6932 from the UK (Freephone from landlines and mobiles) on or before the closing date (15 November 2019) in order to claim their prize. The entrant will hear a recorded message and be asked to leave their name, contact telephone number and address, and quote the URN printed on the inside of the bottle. Within 48 hours of leaving the message (or 72 hours if on a weekend), the entrant will receive a call from the Promoter’s marketing agency and shall be asked to confirm the following verification details: the entrant’s name, address, date of birth, phone number, and the URN printed on the inside of the winning Promotional Bottle.
Following the initial telephone verification process, the Promoter’s marketing agency will send a confirmation letter and pre-paid recorded delivery bag to the entrant in order for the winning Promotional Bottle and cap to be returned from the entrant. Entrants must not send their winning Promotional Bottle and cap by any other method, and must not tamper or damage the winning Promotional Bottle or the cap (including the sound chip) in any way, as doing so will invalidate their prize win.
Once the winning Promotional Bottle and cap has been received and validated against the information provided by the entrant above, the entrant will be contacted and awarded a prize.
- No responsibility
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incomplete or inaccurate entries, or entries or communications that are misdirected, lost, delayed, damaged, corrupted or not received during delivery to or from the Promoter due to any computer malfunction, virus, bug, delay, postal strike, postal issue or other reason whatsoever. Proof of posting is not proof of delivery. All entries become the property of the Promoter. No entries can be returned or copied to the entrant.
There will be a total of 30 (thirty) prizes available to be won during the Promotional Period. There is 1 (one) prize for each of the 30 (thirty) winning Promotional Bottles. Each prize is 1 x £1,000 (one thousand pounds Sterling).
Each prize will be given by means of a personal cheque made payable to the winner for the sum of 1 x £1,000 (one thousand pounds Sterling) . Winners will receive their cheque by recorded post within 28 (twenty eight) days of the Promoter verifying that the person is a valid winner. Cheques must be cashed within 6 (six) months from the date on the cheque. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to supply the correct personal information for the cheque and current postal address. The Promoter will not be liable for non-delivery of cheques caused by the provision of the wrong information, postal dispute or causes beyond its control.
- Limitations and Non - Transferable
The prize in whole or in part is non-transferable. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter, the prize will only be awarded directly to the winner.
- Promotional Bottles
Winning Promotional Bottles or caps must not be sold for commercial gain in any way, including without limitation, on online auction sites. If the Promoter becomes aware that a winning Promotional Bottle and/or cap has been made available for sale, bought or sold, the Promoter reserves the right to refuse to redeem the winning Promotional Bottle and cap without payment of compensation to the entrant who submits the relevant winning Promotional Bottle and cap for verification as a valid claim.
- Unclaimed Prizes
If for any reason, none or not all of the 30 (thirty) prizes are claimed or awarded by the closing date, no additional winning Promotional Bottles will be produced.
- No liability
To the fullest extent permissible by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered or sustained as a result of participation in the promotion or redemption of the prize or any other loss or damage in connection with or in any way relating to a prize.
- No Responsibility
The Promoter does not take responsibility for, recommend or guarantee the performance of any contractual or other obligations of third parties associated with the prize and shall not be liable for any acts or omissions (including fraud) committed by any third party.
- Publication of Prize Winner
By entering the Promotion the entrant agrees that, if they become a prize winner, their first name, county and country may be published by the Promoter on its social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter and in other media at the Promoter’s sole discretion.
- Details of Prize Winners
The name and county of each prize winner will be available by sending an email request to email@example.com after 15 December 2019 for a period of 3 months. Entries to this address will NOT be accepted.
- Unpaid publicity
Prize winners may be required to participate in unpaid publicity as required by the Promoter.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions (including but not limited to paragraph 14). Entry instructions on-pack, on-line and in any other marketing materials form part of these terms and conditions. All entries must be made directly by the person entering the promotion, and entries made by a third party or with automated devices or processes are not allowed.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify any prize claim including, but not limited to, name, address and any winning Promotional Bottle and cap. Only valid URN codes will be accepted.
- Right to Suspend, Vary or Cancel
The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, vary or cancel the promotion without notice if circumstances make this unavoidable.
- Personal Information
The Promoter will collect personal information from the entrant for the purposes of administering this promotion and will share this personal information with the following third parties who will be supporting the Promoter with the promotion:
Promoter’s Marketing Agency who will help administer the promotion: ATOM Marketing Communications Ltd - a company registered in England with company number 11946200, whose registered office is at 3 Thorp House, Thorp Street, Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK10 1LJ, UK; and
- Agreement to Terms and Conditions
By entering this promotion all entrants agree unequivocally to be bound by these terms and conditions.
If any provision or part-provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it will be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision will be deemed deleted. Any modification to or deletion of a provision or part-provision under this clause will not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these terms and conditions.
- English Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, but is subject to the mandatory local law provisions for consumers. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
